Ringo Star is a legend, and a member of perhaps the greatest band in all of music – the Beatles. Ringo replaced Pete Best in the early days of the Beatles, well before they were discovered, and for many years became his claim to fame. The other accomplishment is that he married Barbara Bach of course!
In addition to all his work with the Fab Four, his tunes “Back Off Boogaloo,” “It Don’t Come Easy,” and “Photograph” make him one of the most successful artists of our time. Ringo is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, once as a member of the Beatles, and the other for his solo career.
Ringo gathered the best available artists around and began touring as his ‘All Star Band’ in 1989, with members ranging from Peter Frampton, Billy Preston, Joe Walsh, and Bonnie Raitt. He’s out on tour now…
