Rihanna Takes Over With Super Bowl Halftime Performance

The Philadelphia Eagles were leading the Kansas City Chiefs at the 2023 Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona, 24-14 when Rihanna took to the field for her half-time performance. The icon was on a platform dangling above the field as she got her performance started with “B-tch Better Have My Money.”

Rihanna marked the first ever Apple Music sponsored Super Bowl Halftime Show with a wide array of her catalog. The State Farm Stadium lost control as Rihanna ran through songs like “Rude Boy,” “Umbrella,” “We Found Love,” “Only Girl (In the World),” to “Diamonds.” Rihanna has 14 number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100, so it isn’t surprising that they wanted to make their way through as many of them as possible.

It is tough to compare a single performer to the 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show that featured Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar, as well as appearances from 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak. However, social media reactions seem to be pretty satisfied with Rihanna’s halftime performance, as fans seem thrilled.
