Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Stand Up for Heroes Benefit Concert

The Red Hot Chili Peppers announced this past week that they will be in the lineup for the ‘2017 Stand Up for Heroes benefit,’ which takes place at MSG (Madison Square Garden) in New York City on November 7th. The ‘2017 Stand Up for Heroes’ benefit is the annual event designed to raise money for injured veterans and their families. ‘RHCP’ was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, touring to this day.

Here are the top three tunes (in our opinion) from the Red Hot Chili Peppers…

“Higher Ground” the cover of the classic Stevie Wonder song that pays homage to the original while giving fans the full ‘RHCP’ treatment.

“Californication” is the signature song from the group, selling nearly 20 million copies, opening up European markets for the boys in the band to exploit.

“Otherside” is the song Anthony Kiedis showed us his vocal range and tender side, selling millions of copies and getting extensive radio airplay at a time this brand of music was fighting to sell.
