Recapping the Weekend’s NFL Action

Week two of the NFL season is almost in the books with only the Giants and Lions yet to play. What a weekend it was, providing us with more action than we saw in week one. Let’s take a look at the big winners from the weekend…

The Falcons opened up a brand new stadium and did it in style. They took down the Packers during Sunday Night Football 34-23. Devonta Freeman scored twice and Julio Jones went for over 100 receiving yards to take Atlanta to 2-0 on the season.

The Denver Broncos also went to 2-0 on the season after beating up the Dallas Cowboys 42-17. C.J. Anderson led the way with 118 rushing yards and one touchdown while Trevor Siemian threw for four touchdowns! Ezekiel Elliot ran the ball just nine times for eight yards.

The Dolphins and Buccaneers both had a bye in week one due to the weather situation, so week two was their season opener. Both teams won in impressive fashion, the Bucs dominating the Bears and the Dolphins going on the road to beat the Chargers.

Other winners this weekend include the Ravens, Panthers, Cardinals, Titans, Patriots, Chiefs, Steelers, Raiders, Redskins and Seahawks.
