Recapping Basketball’s Big Sunday Games

This weekend we saw plenty of action in the NBA and plenty of it came on Sunday. There were three games yesterday, but unfortunately none of them were really close in the end.

The day started with the Raptors and Cavs game, the closest of the three games. While Toronto was down big at moments in the game they made it close in the fourth quarter. LeBron James was LeBron James though and the lead was pushed to seven by the time the game was over. James would end the game with 35 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the win.

The Wizards and Celtics game followed on Sunday and boy was it a weird one. The game was tied at half before the Celtics were outscored by 22 in the third quarter! Washington would end up winning by 19 points. John Wall and Bradley Beal would combine for 56 total points in this one.

The Spurs and Rockets finished us off Sunday night with another game that was tight at the half. Unfortunately for Spurs fans the four-point deficit at half ended up expanding all the way to 21 by game’s end. James Harden led the way with 28 points and 12 assists for the Rockets.
