Celebrated country music trio Rascal Flatts is set to headline the Altabank Stadium of Fire on July 4, 2025, at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah. This performance marks a significant highlight of their “Life Is a Highway” 25th-anniversary reunion tour, bringing the band back together after a five-year hiatus.
The Stadium of Fire, a cornerstone of America’s Freedom Festival at Provo, promises attendees more than just a musical performance. The evening will feature the nation’s largest stadium fireworks and drone spectacle, a thrilling flyover by F-35 jets from Utah’s Hill Air Force Base, and heartfelt tributes to military and civilian heroes.
Tickets for the event will be available starting Friday, March 7, 2025. Freedom Festival email subscribers can access tickets at 10 a.m., with sales opening to the general public at noon the same day. Purchases can be made through the Freedom Festival website or directly via BYU’s ticketing platform.
Formed in 2000, Rascal Flatts has cemented their legacy in modern country music with 17 No. 1 hits, over 23 million albums sold, and more than 12 billion streams. Their chart-topping singles, such as “Bless The Broken Road” and “Life Is a Highway,” have resonated with fans worldwide. The trio’s return to the stage is highly anticipated, especially as they conclude their reunion tour with the Stadium of Fire performance.
Following a fireworks malfunction in the 2024 event that resulted in injuries, organizers have implemented enhanced safety protocols to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Provo Fire Marshal Lynn Schofield has assured that specific types of fireworks that previously caused issues will no longer be used.
The 2025 Stadium of Fire, headlined by Rascal Flatts, promises a memorable Independence Day celebration, blending iconic music, spectacular fireworks, and patriotic tributes in the heart of Provo, Utah.
