Rapper Meek Mill recently visited the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland and was deeply moved by the experience. He has since vowed to use his platform to fight against antisemitism and raise awareness about the Holocaust.
In a statement released on his social media accounts, Mill wrote, “My visit to Auschwitz was one of the most powerful and emotional experiences of my life. The atrocities committed against the Jewish people during the Holocaust must never be forgotten. I will use my voice and my platform to fight against antisemitism and hate in all its forms.”
Mill, who has been vocal about social justice issues in the past, has expressed his commitment to continuing this fight and educating others about the importance of respecting all cultures and religions.
The Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum also released a statement thanking Mill for his visit and for his dedication to promoting tolerance and understanding.
Mill’s statement has been met with support from fans and other artists in the music industry, who applaud his efforts to use his influence for good.
