Radiohead has established a new limited liability partnership (LLP) named RHEUK25 LLP, a move that historically precedes significant band activities. This development has ignited fan speculation about potential new projects, including the possibility of a new album or tour.
Radiohead has a pattern of forming LLPs ahead of major releases or tours. For instance, they created Dawn Chorus LLP before releasing their 2016 album, A Moon Shaped Pool, and Spin With a Grin LLP prior to the 2021 Kid A Mnesia reissue. Similarly, Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood established Self Help Tapes LLP before announcing their side project, The Smile, in 2022.
Since their last album in 2016, Radiohead members have engaged in various solo endeavors. Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood formed The Smile, releasing albums in 2024. Additionally, Yorke is set to release a collaborative album with electronic musician Mark Pritchard, titled Tall Tales, on May 9, 2025.
In late 2024, bassist Colin Greenwood revealed that Radiohead had rehearsed their older material, marking their first such session since 2018. While Greenwood described these rehearsals as informal, they have fueled hopes among fans for a potential reunion or new material.
As of now, Radiohead has not officially confirmed any forthcoming projects. However, the formation of RHEUK25 LLP aligns with their historical practices preceding major announcements, leading to widespread anticipation within the fan community.
