Queens of the Stone Age are preparing to hit the road again in 2025, following the cancellation of multiple 2024 shows due to lead singer and guitarist Josh Homme’s health concerns.
Earlier this year, the band had to call off eight festival dates on their End Is Nero tour as Homme returned to the U.S. for “emergency surgery.” Shortly after, another seven European dates were canceled due to ongoing health issues. The band issued a statement on social media explaining, “Josh has been given no choice but to prioritize his health and to receive essential medical care through the remainder of the year.”
Homme, who revealed in 2023 that he had undergone surgery for cancer after being diagnosed in 2022, has been open about his health struggles. The band had been touring extensively in 2023 and 2024 in support of their eighth studio album, In Times New Roman…
Now, the band has confirmed their return with a summer 2025 leg of the End Is Nero tour. The tour will kick off with a two-night stint at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston on June 10 and 11, followed by stops in Cincinnati, Madison, and Chicago.
