Prince’s New Music Still On Hold

Over the last few weeks we were all excited to hear the release of “Deliverance,” the posthumous release from Prince. Unfortunately things got sticky and Prince’s estate wanted to now allow us from hearing the album and five of the six songs were never released on the streaming services we expected them to be on.

It has recently come out that in order for the restraining order that was issued to keep this music from being heard the estate would have to pay a $1 million bond. This would extend the restraining order until one minute before May 23 hits. The decision must be made by 5pm on May 12.

We’ll see how serious Prince’s estate is about keeping this six-track EP off streaming services with their decision here.
