It has been announced that Prince will be playing in Australia and New Zealand later this month. His Piano and a Microphone tour continues and will be joining those two areas as a part of it.
This isn’t the first time he has surprised us all with such soon pop-up tour dates. He did this in 2014 during his Hit and Run tour (how appropriate of a name).
As for the specific dates… Prince will visit Melbourne on Feb 16 and 17 at the State Theatre, will perform twice on Feb 20 at the Sydney Opera House, and Feb 21 he’ll play one show at Sydney’s State Theatre before finally heading to New Zealand. In New Zealand, he’ll be performing on Feb 24 in Auckland.
