Previewing This Weekend’s College Football

Week five of the college football season and before we know it, it’ll be gone! We must take advantage of every opportunity we get to watch great football and this week is as good as any. There is a great list of games to watch Saturday, but we also get a great matchup on Friday. Let’s take a look…

On Friday we get to see two great Pac 12 teams square off in a top 10 battle. Stanford heads to Washington to see if they can beat the Huskies and continue their undefeated streak. It’ll be Washington’s first tough test of the season, so it’ll be interesting to see how they come out and play.

Saturday there are plenty of big matchups and it all starts with Tennessee at Georgia at 3:30pm. These two are the favorites to win the SEC East, so even though Georgia lost to Ole Miss last week, a win against the Vols puts them in the driver’s seat if they can pull it out.

Michigan and Wisconsin also square off at 3:30pm in a Big 10 battle of high ranked teams. Wisconsin is coming off a huge win against Michigan State on the road and Michigan beat fellow Big 10 competitor, Penn State, handily last weekend.

Oklahoma at TCU is a fun 5pm matchup to take a look at. The Sooners have two losses already, but we could see them win out and upset some team’s dreams by season’s end.

The absolute biggest game of the weekend is the 8pm battle between Louisville and Clemson. These two are two of the favorites to make the playoff and it’s all because of their quarterback play. Both Deshaun Watson and Lamar Jackson have NFL potential and play in college offenses that show off their incredible skill sets.
