Previewing the 2017 NFL Draft

The 2017 NFL Draft is upon us! Wondering who will be the top five players off the board? Here’s what we think will happen…

Cleveland Browns: The 1 and 15 Cleveland Browns are looking to rebuild and come back better than ever in 2017. What better way to do that than with the first overall pick in the NFL Draft? It looks like that pick will be defensive end, Myles Garrett, from Texas A&M. Garrett is such a no-brainer as the first pick that the Browns will be running to the podium on Thursday night to make this official. Can Myles Garrett be the player to start a new era of football in Cleveland?

San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers looks to bolster their defense with the addition of Soloman Thomas, defensive end, from Stanford. The importance of a pass-rush in the NFL is undeniable and Thomas has the strength and technique to provide that for San Francisco.

Chicago Bears: You have to be able to stop the pass in the NFC North and that’s exactly how Marshone Lattimore made his mark at Ohio State. This seems to be the perfect match. This cornerback will likely slot right in to the Chicago Bears starting lineup.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Jacksonville is looking to beef up their run-game during this year’s NFL Draft. While Leonard Fournette battled through injuries throughout the end of his college football career, there is no doubt that her can run over even the strongest of defenses. Fournette will be a valuable pick at number 4 for the Jaguars.

Tennessee Titans: The Titans have a great quarterback in Marcus Mariota but need an offense for their superstar to work with. The addition of O.J. Howard at tight end with give Tennessee a versatile option through the air as well as one that excels through the run-game as a blocker.
