Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help” Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard Global 200

Post Malone’s latest single, “I Had Some Help,” featuring Morgan Wallen, has rocketed to the top of the Billboard Global 200 chart. The track, released on May 10, achieved an impressive debut with 119 million streams and 81,000 sales worldwide in the week ending May 16.

The Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, which were introduced in September 2020, rank songs based on streaming and sales data from over 200 territories. These charts use a weighted formula that includes both audio and video streams, as well as download sales from full-service digital music retailers. However, sales from direct-to-consumer sites are not included in the calculations.

For Post Malone, “I Had Some Help” marks his second No. 1 hit on the Global 200, following his feature on Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight,” which topped the chart for two weeks earlier this month. Morgan Wallen, on the other hand, earns his first No. 1 hit on the Global 200 with this collaboration. Wallen had previously reached the top 10 with his single “Last Night,” which peaked at No. 5 in March 2023.

Meanwhile, on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” continues to dominate, securing its second consecutive week at No. 1. This chart, which excludes data from the United States, showcases the global appeal of Carpenter’s latest hit.

The success of “I Had Some Help” underscores the powerful combination of Post Malone’s distinctive style and Morgan Wallen’s country flair, resonating with audiences worldwide. As both artists continue to break new ground, their collaboration sets a high bar for future releases in 2024.
