Plenty of Chances to See Hall & Oates Live This September

Daryl Hall and John Oates have the most interesting story to tell when asked how they met? Each was fronting a garage band at the Adelphi Ballroom in Philly, waiting to go on stage for a ‘battle of the band competition.’ All of a sudden gunfire rang out, and John and Daryl ran into an elevator to escape – they introduced each other, quickly realizing that they like the same music, so they decide to start their own band.

Hall and Oates was the most successful and prolific songwriting duo in the 70s; the two have earned every award and have sold over 120 million records. Be sure to check out the two on tour this fall.
