If you’re a Pink Floyd fan, this news will be an early Christmas present. Pink Floyd will be packaging the early says of the band in a box set called The Early Years 1965-1972. The 27 disc box set will be released in early November of this year, and will be containing unreleased tracks.
In early 1965 college boys Roger Waters, Richard Wright, Nick Mason and Syd Barrett met and began a musical journey that has lasted nearly 50 years. “Wish You Were Here,” “Dark Side of the Moon,” and “The Wall,” remain classic s in both the progressive FM and classic genres. Over the years (much like a first love) fans seem to want to remember the good things about the band, its contributions to the times.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995, the UK Hall of Fame in 2005, and responsible for album sales of nearly 250 million; landing Pink Floyd as one of most successful garage bands of all time.
The box set again. The Early Years 1965-1972 will be on record shelves in early November 2016
