Pharrell Williams once again turned a Louis Vuitton runway into a stage for new music, using the brand’s Spring/Summer 2027 menswear presentation in Paris to introduce a series of unreleased collaborations with some of hip-hop’s biggest names.
The soundtrack served as more than background music. It became the event’s biggest talking point as Pharrell unveiled fresh recordings with Quavo, Lil Baby, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again, giving attendees an exclusive first listen while models debuted the latest Louis Vuitton collection.
Quavo’s “HAAVIN” opened the presentation, offering another preview of his upcoming collaborative project with Pharrell. Lil Baby followed with “Dead Fresh,” a track that represents the pair’s first official studio collaboration. YoungBoy Never Broke Again also joined the lineup with “Simulation,” extending Pharrell’s growing catalog of artist-driven runway premieres.
The show closed on a celebratory note with “Bando,” featuring legendary Beninese singer Angélique Kidjo alongside Pharrell and Quavo. Unlike the other songs previewed during the presentation, “Bando” became available on streaming services shortly after the event.
Adding to the production, the soundtrack featured live performances from L’Orchestre du Pont Neuf and the Voices of Fire choir, reinforcing Pharrell’s vision of combining fashion, music, and live performance into a single creative experience.
Since becoming Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Creative Director, Pharrell has increasingly used the fashion house’s global runway shows as a launchpad for new music, giving artists an unconventional stage to introduce upcoming releases while expanding the cultural reach of each collection.
