i/o, Gabriel’s first album of original material in over two decades, was unveiled progressively throughout 2023, with a new song released each month leading up to the full album’s debut in December. The album received critical acclaim and secured two awards at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards: Best Immersive Audio Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.
While specific details about O/I remain under wraps, Gabriel’s announcement has generated significant anticipation among fans and critics alike. Given his history of innovative soundscapes and thought-provoking lyrics, expectations are high for this forthcoming project.
