After appearing earlier in the season to talk about his whirlwind summer and engagement to singer Ariana Grande, Pete Davidson dropped by the Weekend Update desk on Saturday Night Live Nov. 3 to talk about the midterm elections and ended up addressing the recent breakup.
On their split, Davidson said: “The truth is, it’s nobody’s business. Sometimes things just don’t work out… She’s a wonderful strong person,” he continued about his ex, “and I wish her all the happiness in the world.” He ended the segment by telling people to vote on Tuesday.
