Pearl Jam, while in-between songs at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California this week, paid tribute to Foo Fighters’ late drummer, Taylor Hawkins.
“[Hawkins] emitted something very incredible and very special,” frontman Eddie Vedder told the audience, honoring Hawkin’s close friendship with Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron. “We’re all missing him, and so, Matt, I’m sorry again for your loss. But it just gives us another chance to say how much we appreciate you as well.”
