On Thursday Night Football, the New England Patriots demolished the Atlanta Falcons, 25-0. This game was meaningful for multiple reasons but none other than the fact that the Patriots look like top contenders again. Not only was the Patriots’ offense strong throughout the game, but their defense was also the highlight of the evening.
Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy led the defense with two sacks, two tackles for loss, and an interception returned for a touchdown. The Falcons struggled all night attempting to pass the ball, as they threw four interceptions total.
Next weekend, the Patriots look to extend their now five-game winning streak against the Tennessee Titans, as both teams hope to dominate the AFC. For the Falcons, who now sit at 4-6, they look to get back on track with a favorable matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
