The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes has said that he typically listens to Meek Mill’s anthem prior to games, but is removing it from his pregame playlist prior to Super Bowl 57 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Primarily due to Meek Mill being a Philadelphia native and massive Eagles fan.
Mahomes stated during Super Bowl Opening Night, “I usually listen to ‘Dreams and Nightmares,’ but I don’t know if I can l listen to that this week, I’m a big Meek Mill fan, but I’m going to have to throw that music aside at least for this week.”
Meanwhile, Mahomes’ teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster said that he doesn’t mind listening and that he will listen to Lil Uzi Vert’s “Just Wanna Rock,” the same track Lil Uzi Vert led the Eagles out of the tunnel with for their NFC game. Smith-Schuster added, “If Philly comes out to that on Sunday that — because that’s their new anthem — I’m going to dance with them.”
