1970s idol David Cassidy is in critical but stable condition in a Florida hospital as we speak, suffering from liver and kidney failure. At last report David’s conscious and in good spirits, but there have been conflicting reports about David’s condition; a few news leaks earlier today indicate the end is near, while friends and family simply say he’s in critical condition, awaiting a liver transplant.
It’s been a rough road for David over the past months, as he’s been battling dementia, diagnosed earlier in the year. Born to Hollywood royalty, son of actor David Cassidy and mother Evelyn Ward, David had the good fortune of leveraging his successful acting career as the star of the ‘Partridge Family’ in the mid-70s, into a pop idol music career.
His singing talents generated the hit singles “I’ll Meet You Halfway” and “I Think I Love You” allowing for stadium concerts and sold out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City. We’ll continue to give you updates as we learn more.
