On February 7, 2025, Papa Roach delivered a landmark performance at London’s Wembley Arena, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough album, Infest. The evening was a testament to the band’s enduring appeal and evolution over the past quarter-century.
Opening with their latest single, “Even If It Kills Me,” the band immediately set an energetic tone. They then revisited early hits like “Blood Brothers” and “Dead Cell,” tracks that have retained their intensity since their 2000 debut. Frontman Jacoby Shaddix’s dynamic stage presence was evident as he engaged the audience, at one point immersing himself into the front row during “…To Be Loved.”
The setlist spanned the band’s diverse catalog, reflecting their musical journey from nu-metal origins to more contemporary sounds. A poignant moment arose when Shaddix shared a heartfelt anecdote about the late Chester Bennington before performing “Forever,” underscoring the band’s commitment to mental health awareness.
The encore was a highlight, featuring a medley of nu-metal classics, including covers of Korn’s “Blind,” Deftones’ “My Own Summer (Shove It),” and System of a Down’s “Chop Suey!” The night culminated with their iconic anthem “Last Resort,” leaving the audience in a state of euphoria.
Reflecting on the milestone, Shaddix expressed gratitude to the fans, stating, “You made our dreams come true!” The successful show at Wembley Arena not only celebrated Papa Roach’s past achievements but also highlighted their ongoing relevance in the rock music scene.
