Pamela Anderson Shatters Makeup Taboo at 2024 Met Gala

Pamela Anderson made a stunning appearance at the 2024 Met Gala, breaking her long-standing no-makeup rule for the prestigious event. The Baywatch star, known for her au naturel look, opted for a glamorous transformation, sporting eyeshadow, mascara, blush, and lipstick.

Anderson, 56, dazzled in a champagne-colored off-the-shoulder gown, featuring a corseted top and flowing train. Accompanying her elegant ensemble was a feathered hair accessory and shimmering jewelry, adding to her radiant allure.

The Met Gala, known for its extravagant fashion displays, featured this year’s theme titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” with a dress code centered around “The Garden of Time.” Co-chaired by Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth, the event saw the presence of fashion icons and celebrities alike.

The exhibition showcased approximately 250 items from The Costume Institute’s permanent collection, incorporating elements such as AI and GCI to explore themes of land, sea, and sky. Andrew Bolton, the Wendy Yu Curator in Charge of The Costume Institute, described the exhibition as “an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” highlighting its innovative approach to couture.
