After dealing with several different health issued over the course of the past few years, Ozzy Osbourne is eager to get back to performing, however, he says there is one obstacle in the way. Osbourne explained that, “My head is alright, my creativity is OK, my singing’s OK but I just can’t fucking walk much now, I can’t tell you how fucking frustrating life has become… I’ve never been this ill this long in my life.”
Back in June of 2022, Osbourne had repair work on the pins that were placed into his spine after a near death 2003 ATV accident. The pins needed to be realigned due to a bedroom fall in 2019. Osbourne revealed at the time that, “The surgeon told me that if I didn’t have the surgery there would be a good chance I would be paralyzed from the neck down.” In very recent years, he has also had to battle with a serious hand infection on top of Parkinson’s disease.
Ozzy is set to resume his very delayed No More Tours 2 world tour on May third in Helsinki, Finland. Osbourne has not performed a full concert since December 32st, 2018. This year, however, he did perform two songs at a time at both the Commonwealth Games and the NFL Kickoff Game.
Despite health problems and setbacks, Osbourne managed to release two well received studio albums, 2020’s Ordinary Man and this year’s patient Number 9. When speaking of how much he misses touring, Osbourne said, “I really miss being with the kids, I want to be out there, I want to be doing it. … It’s amazing how one stupid thing can screw everything up for a long time.”
