Our Favorites in the Hall

The Moody Blues, Bon Jovi and Dire Straits were among the artists that were admitted into the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class for 2018. Let’s spend a few minutes with each of them…

The Moody Blues burst onto the scene in the mid-60s with songs that brought full orchestras in the studio. ‘Days of Future Passed’ celebrated its 50th birthday this year, and the rock band crossed over into pop with tunes like “The Voice,” “Your Wildest Dreams,” and “I Know You’re Out There Somewhere.” The Moody Blues have been eligible for induction since 1989.

Bon Jovi has sold over 100 million records since their arrival in the mid-80s, hitting the charts with singles from 13 studio albums. “It’s My Life,” “Livin’ On A Prayer,” “Runaway,” and “Wanted Dead or Alive,” became anthems for fans over the years.

Dire Straits wore out the MTV channel with “Money For Nothing,” “Walk of Life,” “Brothers in Arms,” and “Walk of Life” selling over 100 million records worldwide. They’ve come a long way since their first big hit ‘Sultans of Swing” in 1978.
