Got an Oreo craving? Now you can look beyond the aisles of your local supermarket to get your hands on milk’s favorite cookie. Oreo opened its first-ever Oreo Cafe on August 3, and the new destination vows to offer “a new, immersive and personalized way for all fans and cookie lovers to experience Oreo in person.”
More specifically, visitors to the Oreo Cafe, which is located on the third floor of the IT’SUGAR store at the American Dream in New Jersey, can expect to find a first-of-its-kind treats bar packed with customizable Oreo creations.
But wait, there’s more! The Oreo Cafe also boasts a menu filled with plenty of a la carte Oreo-inspired desserts such as a waffle sundae with baked-in Oreo pieces (uh, yum!) and Oreo Cookies and Cream Cheesecake layered with Oreo cookie mousse, and drizzled chocolate ganache and milk chocolate rosettes.
In case you haven’t gotten the gist already, this place is basically an Oreo lover’s paradise.
Need more proof? At the Oreo Cafe, customers with an insatiable sweet tooth can build their own unique “Twist Your Oreo” treats by choosing a dessert base (options include a waffle, ice cream sandwich, cone or milkshake) and then picking from a variety of Oreo-inspired toppings such as chocolate sauce and sprinkle. With more than 200 possible combinations, your taste buds will never be bored.
Last but certainly not least, there’s a not-so-secret secret menu item called the Oreo Doughnut S’Morewich, which features scoops of Oreo ice cream sandwiched between chocolate waffle cone pieces, and topped with a giant marshmallow, a glazed doughnut, chocolate sauce, blue and white sprinkles and an Oreo cookie, because why not?
And once you get full (because you know that’s coming) you can head over to a separate portion of the cafe, where you can snag some apropos merchandise including Oreo-scented candles, branded apparel, packages of Oreo cookies and more.
Even if you can’t make it out to New Jersey to take a seat in the Oreo Cafe, you can still purchase some merchandise on ITSUGAR.com and OREO.com.
