Oreo is shaking up the cookie aisle with its “boldest taste test challenge yet.”

As PEOPLE magazine reports, the cookie brand is debuting three all-new innovative flavors — Chicken & Waffles, Deep Fried and Banana Pudding — in one big launch, the brand announced on Aug. 13. The three new cookies are limited-edition, but with a catch.

Oreo is “handing the keys of the cookie vault” over to its fans by having them ultimately choose which of the three new flavors gets to make a comeback on the Oreo roster. From Aug. 17 to Oct. 12, fans can vote for their favorite flavor by scanning the QR code on the limited-edition packs or at OREO.com/twist-lick-vote.

With each vote, fans are also automatically entered into a sweepstakes, with the grand prize being a year’s supply of original Oreo cookies.

The first of the new flavors, Oreo Chicken & Waffles Cookies, is “a first-of-its-kind in the cookie aisle,” and combines sweet and savory flavors reminiscent of the beloved comfort food. The new cookie features a waffle texture and a dual-layer creme to capture the essence of fried chicken and maple syrup.

Oreo Banana Pudding Cookies take the flavor of the popular dessert and blend it into a new treat. Layers of sweet banana and vanilla pudding flavors come together in a “deliciously delectable dual-layered creme,” which sits between two vanilla wafer cookies.

Oreo is owning its surprising status as a state fair favorite and bringing the fried flavors to the grocery store with Oreo Deep Fried Cookies.

“We baked that iconic golden-fried, doughy flavor right into the cookie itself, with fried dough-flavored cookies wrapping layers of dark chocolate and fried dough flavored creme,” a description for the new treat reads. “Packed with all the state fair food flavor, minus the crowds!”

All three new flavors will be available for presale on Aug. 17 at OREO.com/UnwrapTheCollab, and will arrive at retailers across the country one week later on Aug. 24 for a limited time, while supplies last. The winning flavor will be revealed on Oct. 13 and will earn its spot on Oreo’s 2027 roster for a limited time.
