According to RAMP247.com, Olivia Newton-John, an Australian-Born actress and singer with a primary focus in country-pop, folk-pop, rock-pop, and a disco-pop icon in the 1970’s has passed away at the age of 73 years old. The Grease star passed away on Monday, August 8th in Southern California at her ranch following a long battle with cancer. Her family announced her passing on Facebook stating, “Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund.” Newton-John was treated for breast cancer in 1992 and in 2017 she made the announcement that the cancer had returned and metastasized. Olivia Newton-John is survived by her husband, “Amazing John” Easterling, her daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, sister Sarah Newton-John, her brother Toby Newton-John and her many nieces and nephews.
