Just the other day, Notre Dame’s football team was hit with bad news as six players were charged and arrested for issues surrounding marijuana possession, gun charges, resisting arrest and battery of a police officer. These charges were spread out amongst the six players.
News comes out of South Bend now that Notre Dame has dismissed Max Redfield from the football team while another player, Devin Butler, has been suspended indefinitely. Redfield was set to start at safety this year and was a senior. Butler was also a senior.
The other players involved with the arrests this past weekend, Dexter Williams, Ashton White, Te’Von Coney and Kevin Stepherson have not had their punishments disclosed, but instead will be handled internally.
