Nike is gearing up for Valentine’s Day, offering a closer look at its forthcoming “City of Love” collection. Kicking things off last year, the collection previewed a burgundy-hued SB Dunk Low, landing in a plush “Burgundy Crush” colorway. The first sneaker in the collection showcased a deep red hue across a mixed material upper, offering the coziest kicks to wear for the season of love.
As Hypebae reports, the shoes are crafted with a nubuck base, and paired with complementary hues across its tumbled leather overlays and Swooshes. Elsewhere, the shoe’s vibrant heel and sole unit also feature matching deep burgundy hits, while thematic tie-ins land across the signature tongue and sock liner.
Alongside the burgundy iteration, the collection now includes a more subtle design, dressed in “Coconut Milk.” Crafted with a mixture of mesh and leather, the pared-back silhouette fuses hues of cream and off-white with a speckled outsole and thin burgundy trim.
The “City of Love” pack is slated for release in February via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops at a starting price of $125 USD.
