Night Ranger Out on Tour in 2017

Did you know that the song “Sister Christian” from Night Ranger is about the drummer’s (Kelly Keagy) real life sister Christy? The band hails from San Francisco, beginning their musical journey in 1982 with original members that came from earlier bands like ‘Sly and the Family Stone,’ ‘Montrose,’ and ‘Rubicon.’

After a lot of hard work paying their dues in local night clubs, they changed their name to ‘Rangers’ and began to open for pal Sammy Hagar. One night while walking off the stage, a member of the court handed them a C&D or lawsuit filed against a country band called ‘Rangers.’ They quickly voted to change their name to Night Ranger, never looking back. Night Ranger is out of tour; sounding as good as they did in the 80s and 90s…
