Nielsen has released multiple charts covering music, sales and streams among many other things and today we wanted to look at the album sales chart. We’re talking about the top 10 albums for 2017 at this point in the year and how they’ve done in sales. It’s a pretty intense list and features some amazing music.
Not surprisingly, “Divide” from Ed Sheeran sits at the very top of the chart. It sold just under 750,000 albums in the first half of 2017. Following Sheeran’s “Divide” is “DAMN.” from Kendrick Lamar. That one has been amazing in 2017 and has sold nearly 680,000 albums. Let’s take a look at the entire top 10 list shall we?
