Nicki Minaj Signed First Artist to Her Record Label

According to hiphopdx.com, Nicki Minaj discussed with Joe Budden earlier this year how she was starting her own record label and it looks like that time has come. DMV Rapper Tate Kobang made an announcement on his own Instagram Story that he had signed with Nicki. He wrote, “Welp thats cats out the bag,” “Yeah I just closed my deal and signed to Nicci as a artist. Damn.” This isn’t the first time Kobang has appeared, as he has been in the scene since 2011 and more recently helped to co-write 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s Mr. Right Now, with feature Drake on the album Savage Mode II. The signing is yet to have been confirmed by Minaj, besides her record label, she has also recently signed a global partnership deal with Maxim’s betting platform MaximBet.
