Nicki Minaj’s latest album, “Pink Friday 2,” has made a monumental debut, clinching the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart. This release marks her third chart-topping album, following “Pink Friday” and “Roman Reloaded,” and sets a record for the most No. 1 albums by a female rapper.
With 228,000 equivalent album units sold, it also boasts the largest sales week for a female rapper’s album in the 2020s. Featuring collaborations with artists like Drake, Lil Wayne, J. Cole, and Future, the album includes hit singles like “Super Freaky Girl” and “Red Ruby da Sleeze.” Following this success, Minaj has announced a deluxe edition and a tour for 2024.
