Nicki Minaj Gears Up for Second Leg of “Pink Friday 2 World Tour” with New Surprises

Nicki Minaj is ready to take her Pink Friday 2 World Tour to new heights as she prepares for the second North American leg starting in September. The rapper took to social media on August 16 to excite her fans, the Barbz, with promises of fresh surprises, including updated sets, new wardrobe choices, and potentially even new music.

Minaj will be joined by an impressive lineup of openers, including her Young Money collaborator Tyga, “Whole Lotta Money” partner BIA, and Jamaican artist Skillibeng.

“You won’t wanna miss it,” Nicki teased. “#GagCityReloaded will be a magical dream come true. Better than the first half, and that wasn’t easy to do.”

Nicki also expressed her gratitude to her team and guest artists, sharing her love for the talented openers. She went on to highlight her tour’s achievements so far, including becoming the highest-grossing rap tour by a woman and landing in the top 10 for highest-grossing rap tours of all time, with $67 million grossed and 439,000 tickets sold during the first North American leg.

The second leg kicks off on September 4 in Philadelphia, with stops at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden in NYC and a final show on October 11 at Long Island’s UBS Arena. Fans can expect even more surprises as Nicki Minaj continues to paint the world pink.
