Two artists from different corners of the music world are bringing their friendship to the biggest stages this summer.
Niall Horan and Thomas Rhett have announced a pair of co-headlining stadium concerts scheduled for July, marking the first time the longtime friends will share the top billing at venues of that scale. The shows are set for Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pennsylvania on July 18 and GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee on July 19.
The format of the concerts promises more than a typical double bill. Each artist will perform a full set highlighting their own catalog, but the shows will also feature moments where the two musicians share the stage together. The collaborative segments are expected to deliver unique performances created specifically for the events.
Horan and Rhett have built a friendship over nearly a decade and have occasionally crossed musical paths. Their connection has already produced joint performances and a collaborative version of Rhett’s song Old Tricks. Bringing that chemistry into a stadium setting offers both artists a chance to blend pop and country audiences for a pair of highly anticipated nights.
Support for the shows will come from rising artists Kashus Culpepper and Emily Ann Roberts, adding additional variety to the lineup.
The concerts arrive during a busy stretch for both performers. Rhett is preparing to launch additional tour dates tied to his ongoing touring plans, while Horan is entering a new creative chapter. The Irish singer-songwriter recently confirmed that his fourth studio album is complete and is preparing to release a new single titled Dinner Party.
For fans, the July stadium events could serve as a preview of what is ahead. Horan has hinted that a larger tour will follow the album release, making the two co-headlining concerts a high-profile kickoff to the next phase of his live schedule.
Tickets for the shows will be available through fan presales beginning March 11, with general ticket sales opening March 13.
