It’s now week three of the NFL and for many teams they are happy week two is in the past. The NFL is a brutal game with big hits and athletes that will make your eyes pop out. This was seen this weekend, but not always in the most positive of ways. There were major injuries that will play on throughout this season. Let’s take a look at who got hurt in week two.
The biggest name to get hurt was Adrian Peterson. Reports are saying that he tore his meniscus against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night, but should still be able to play this weekend. Amazing recovery from a man who has defied surgery before.
Danny Woodhead injured his knee against the Jaguars in week two. The team and their fans are fearing an ACL injury, which would push Melvin Gordon into a major role.
Jimmy Garoppolo hurt his shoulder in the game against the Dolphins Sunday afternoon. Rumors are that it’s a sprained AC joint and that he could possibly play in week three if things go the right way.
Others to get hurt in week two include DeMarcus Ware, Doug Martin, Jonathan Stewart and Kelvin Beachum among a few others.
