One of the most highly anticipated fashion events of the entire year, Fall New York Fashion Week, kicks off today, September 11, and runs through the 16th in the Big Apple. The event will offer a glimpse into the new year, as designers reveal collections for spring/summer 2026.
As USA Today reports, February’s New York Fashion Week, which focused on fall/winter 2025 fashion, was a star-studded affair. Various runway shows and other events featured appearances by Queen Latifah, Adrien Brody, Kerry Washington, Keke Palmer, Amanda Seyfried, Jodie Turner-Smith and other marquee stars. In September 2024, highlights from NYFW included a surprise appearance by Madonna at a star-studded Luar show.
What is NYFW?
Taking place each year in February and September, New York Fashion Week is a collection of runway shows and fashion presentations where the world’s biggest designers and brands show off their latest looks. The most recent edition of NYFW in February featured about 60 runway shows.
Where is NYFW?
NYFW events will be held in various locations around New York City, including the New York Public Library and Times Square.
NYFW 2025 schedule
Michael Kors will help kick things off for NYFW 2025 on Thursday, Sept. 11, and the final day will feature presentations by Andrew Kwon and Pamella Roland. Here’s a look at all the other shows to keep an eye on throughout the week.
