You know that in spite of the warnings, many people throw caution to the wind and chow down on raw cookie dough – straight out of the fridge when the midnight cravings strike (or you know, so we’ve heard). Well, now you can do it without risking salmonella!
Nestlé Toll House was actually one of the very first in-store brands to venture into the brave new frontier of edible cookie dough. Not only is its brand new Bite-Sized Chocolate Chip Edible Cookie Dough safe to eat raw but also you can pop it in your mouth straight out of a resealable package. Chocolate lovers will really love this treat, because each poppable chocolate chip cookie dough piece is also covered in a chocolatey shell. Equally good, they have no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
You’ll soon be able to find 20-oz. sharable bags—if you don’t eat the whole bag in one sitting—for a suggested retail price of $9.98. (You really should try to save some to bake into a cheesecake or top off an ice cream sundae. The possibilities are endless, folks!) After an initial launch this October at select Sam’s Club locations, it will roll out at new stores in the new year.
