Grammy winning singer/songwriter Ne-Yo and singer/actress Serayah are going to star in the new holiday film, The Sound of Christmas that premieres on Thursday, November 24th, exclusively on BET+. The film tells the story of Montana (played by Serayah), a down on her luck music teacher, who leads a wealthy widower Quentin (played by Ne-Yo) away from his girlfriend and back to love during the holiday season.

The film was written and directed by Booker T. Mattison and executive produced by Tresse Azarel Smallwood. Michael Bless, Draya Michele, and Alijah Kai are also starring in the movie. Serayah and Ne-Yo had previously co-starred together in his video for “Don’t Love Me,” along with Tyler Lepley. The song is on Ne-Yo’s newest album, Self Explanatory, that released back in July. The album also includes features from Bleu, Jeremih, Trippie Redd and Zae France.

Back in 2019, Ne-Yo released his first holiday album, Another Kind of Christmas, that included five original songs that were written by Ne-Yo himself as well as six covers.

Sarayah released her latest single, “Revenge,” the follow up to “P.O.V.,” which released back in February of this year.
