NBA Biggest Free Agents This Offseason

The NBA offseason is here and it’s no longer about how great of a team you can put together for the 2016-2017 season. Now, it’s on to the 2017-2018 season and how you can do your best to compete with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors. Let’s take a look at the top free agents this offseason.

Gordon Hayward has been a young star in Utah, but we’re guessing he’ll be moving on from the smaller market and looking for something bigger and brighter. Some think he’ll stay with Utah for the extra money, but what about Boston for the man who averaged 21.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game?

Chris Paul is likely the biggest name on the market and he’ll be highly sought after because of his resume. Over his career he is averaging just under 19 points and 10 assists per game, which is about what he put up in the 2017 season. The Spurs are a big name to look at here as the team that will want to sign him.

Rudy Gay has opted out and will be a free agent this offseason. He’s averaged just over 18 points and 5 rebounds per game in his career and is a small forward many will be looking at as a non-max player.

Other big names to watch in free agency include Tim Hardaway Jr., P.J. Tucker, Jeff Teague, George Hill and Tyreke Evans among others.
