National Signing Day in the land of college football has come and gone and there is much to report. For the sixth straight year, Alabama has taken the title of top recruiting class, while the number one overall recruit decided on Michigan over Clemson.
Michigan’s amazing class was headlined by the number one overall prospect, Rashan Gary, a defensive tackle out of New Jersey. Other big names were added to the list throughout the day, with Eddie McDoom being the best sounding one.
Georgia landed the top quarterback recruit before the spring semester started, Jacob Eason, but landed the top athlete on Wednesday as well. Mecole Hardman Jr was the best pickup of the day for the Bulldogs, as they landed a top 10 class with a brand new head coach.
There were many great recruiting classes out there, but FSU, LSU, and Ohio State were among the best. Those three classes, along with Alabama and Michigan, rounded out the top five. FSU, LSU, and OSU were the second, third, and fourth best classes according to 247 Sports.
