The 80s was an incredible decade, filled with technology breakthroughs, the debut of the MTV network, and a mix of rock and pop that had not yet been heard. What were the Top Albums of the 80s?

Observations: How powerful were the 80s? Every one of these singers and groups now resides in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, every one selling more than 50 million records. Paul and Michael are in the Hall twice. Rock is easily represented, while the 80s showed rich diversity. The 80s was the decade of great music indeed!
