Jim Carrey, Melissa McCarthy, Debby Ryan, Maura Tierney, Margot Bingham and director Eric Stoltz are all on the silver screen this weekend with Hollywood’s latest releases. If you like documentaries, you’ll enjoy ‘Boom for Real: The Late Teenage Years of Jean-Michel Basquiat’ a film that details the life of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat living in New York in his early years before being discovered. If you’re a fan of animation, then ‘Lu Over the Wall’ is for the whole family; the story of a bored student who opens his imagination to a new friend Lu his pet mermaid. The film ‘Anything’ is a love story for the ages, and ‘Breaking In’ starring Gabrielle Union and Billy Burke is for those that love a real thriller.
Our pick of the week stars Melissa McCarthy, a middle-aged woman who becomes a divorced middle-aged woman, going back to college to finally get her degree. This film is funny and relevant to those that are still paying their student loans.
