Hollywood presents an interesting collection of films this weekend that will give you an excuse to stay out of the heat this weekend. There’s a wonderful documentary about India and the doctor that changed the health of an entire nation in the film ‘The Doctor from India,’ a touching film called A Kid Like Jake’ which probes the love of a child no matter the gender tendencies, and another Johnny Knoxville film that will make you laugh out loud; owning an amusement park can be dangerous!
Out pick of the week is the film ‘Adrift’ starring Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin. This one combines ‘Perfect Storm’ with ‘Castaway.’ The film is filled with hope and love on the high seas, as a storm knocks the two off the deck, forcing them to face their own mortality and sense of survival.
Enjoy the movies this weekend, we always do!
