Movies Opening This Weekend – June 15th, [videos]

Samuel L. Jackson, Catherine Keener, Natalie Portman, Holly Hunter, Jeremy Renner, all shine on the silver screen this weekend. Hollywood takes a ‘reality check’ with a biography about the notorious drug dealer Pablo Escobar and the journalist who became romantically involved with him, a relationship that ultimately led to his demise. The food industry gets a reality check in the film ‘Eating Animals’ a movie that looks at our obsession with meat.

If you want to laugh, the film ‘Tag’ is about four grown-ups that continue their childhood game of Tag, based on a true story, starring Isla Fisher, Annabelle Wallis, Jeremy Renner, and Rashida Jones. John Gotti is featured in ‘Gotti’ the story of crime boss John Gotti and his son; don’t be fooled, the man was evil. Our pick of the week is a film called ‘SuperFly’ which is a reboot or reprise of the 70s ‘SuperFly’ movie that broke records and broke down stereotypes in Hollywood.
