Movies Opening This Weekend – December 30th, 2016 [videos]

Let’s kick off the New Year with a movie that will make you forget about your troubles for a few hours. Denzel Washington, Annette Bening, Matthew McConaughey, Ben Affleck, Clint Eastwood’s son Scott, Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Kevin Costner are on the silver screen this weekend.

Are you a fan of legend Denzel Washington? Consider this – What do you do when you realize that you’ve been standing in place for decades? Denzel and Viola Davis are magnificent in ‘Fences.’ Keep your eye on Adam Driver in the film ‘Paterson.’ Adam has all the skills to be a wonderful actor.

Finally, let’s visit the 70s again with ’20th Century Women,’ a film that features the work of Hollywood’s most accomplished women. The movie you must see this weekend however is ‘Hidden Figures,’ a film about an unexpected hero that saves a critical NSASA mission. The catch is she’s a beautiful African American woman who is counter to the current day stereotypes. ‘Hidden Figures’ is the modern day civil rights movie what will inspire people of all colors.

Enjoy the movies this weekend – I always do!

America was legally dry during the Prohibition Era. Ben Affleck is the man who stands between the police and the millions he might make with bootleg booze.
