Movies Opening This Weekend – August 18th, 2017 [videos]

Ryan Reynolds, Daniel Craig, Channing Tatum, and Danielle Macdonald, will entertain the entire family this weakened. There’s a funny romance about a man who loses his balance after his girlfriend of 10 years leave him, a film about the most unlikely female rap star in New Jersey, and a wonderful movie about two brothers who get fired from their jobs and do the next smartest thing; plan a heist of the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Ryan Reynolds is hired to protect a hitman in a very funny film called ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard, and ‘6 Days’ pulls back the curtain of what it was like in the Iranian Embassy in Princes Gate, London when two terrorists take control of the compound.

Our pick of the week is a movie called ‘Sideman: Long Road to Glory’ which details the often forgotten journey the unknown musicians who play alongside million dollar super star musicians. Piano player Pinetop Perkins, guitarist Hubert Sumlin, and drummer Willie ‘Big Eyes’ Smith are all Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf sidemen; this film will entertain and open your eyes to the long road these supporting musicians play.
